Consulting and Market Analysis for the "APPLE TOWN" Project, Almaty, Kazakhstan
"Apple Town" is a project for the development of a multifunctional hi-tech residential complex on a 27-hectare site, valued at USD 2 billion, with a construction area of about 216,000 sq.m. The project concept includes the construction of high-end residential units with turnkey finishes, 50,000 sq.m of retail space, two Class A office buildings with a total area of 132,000 sq.m, as well as other social and cultural facilities. Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis provided a full range of services, including market analysis, general consulting, recommendations on the project concept, feasibility study preparation, and the project’s financial model.

Valuation of Kazphosphate Assets in Taraz, Shymkent, and Stepnogorsk
The company’s specialists carried out a valuation of the following assets of LLP "Kazphosphate": the Synthetic Detergents Plant in Shymkent, the Chemical Plant in Stepnogorsk, the Railway Transport Complex, and the Mineral Fertilizer Plant in Taraz. The valuation reports were prepared for financial reporting purposes and to support financing.

(NCOC) became the delegated operator of activities under the North Caspian Sea Production Sharing Agreement on 22 January 2009, in line with Agreements signed on 31 October 2008 between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the NCSPSA co-ventures (also named "Contracting Companies").

The “Al Hilal Bank” (UAE) has announced its plans for the opening of 2 branch offices in Kazakhstan before the end of 2009. These branches will be the first Islamic bank offices operating on the territory of the ex-Soviet Union. Their opening has become possible thanks to the agreement signed between the Governments of UAE and Kazakhstan.
