According to the information provided by the Ministry of Economy, the growth rate of capital investments is still high. «In the first quarter 2008 increase was as much as 16 per cent, - informed the Head of Ministry. For comparison, this figure last year was equal to 7.1 per cent».
As explained by B.Sultanovа, despite of slow down in residential construction, the volume of construction in the country at large increased by 8.5 per cent in the first quarter 2008. Number of residential houses commissioned is 3.6% bigger as compared to the similar period of the last year.
