A group of licensed appraisers at Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis | Kazakhstan has completed the project valuation and a land plot used for the construction of the ‘Apple Town’ mixed-use project with the total value over $4 Bn, developed by the South Korean company ‘Woolim’ in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The valuation was performed primarily for Investment and Refinancing purposes for a syndicate of South Korean banks led by Woori Bank, and apart from a Project and Phase valuation it’s also included the valuation of a land plot with a total size of 8 hectares in ‘as is’ condition. A previous valuation of the ‘Apple Town’ project was performed by the Scot Holland | CBRE Valuation Team before the start of the financial crisis in 2007. The current valuation of the Project and the land in ‘as is’ condition was required by the Group of investors and Banks in order to understand the current Project and land value in the present economic conditions with the future forecast and trend.
