Almaty, May 21, 2009. Group of licensed appraisers at Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis Kazakhstan has began valuation of potential construction sites for METRO Cash and Carry shopping centres.
Cooperation between the companies began in 2008 when Scot Holland CB Richard Ellis assisted in the successful search of office premises and conclusion of the lease agreement for "METRO".
As the international retail industry leader, «METRO» considers constructing shopping centers in large cities of Kazakhstan. The first shopping centre is planned to be opened in Astana in October 2009. Total investments into acquisition of the land plot, construction works and purchase of the shopping centre equipment will exceed €15 million.
Currently, Scot Holland | CBRE works on valuation of land plots for construction of "METRO" centers in Almaty and other regions of Kazakhstan.
