NEW WAREHOUSE FOR USAID IN ALMATY

Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis has announced the completion of the transaction and the signing of a Lease Agreement for warehouse space for the USAID agency in Almaty. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent agency of the federal government of the USA, responsible for non-military help to various countries. The Administrator of the agency is assigned by the President of the USA, based on a Senate agreement, and acts in coordination with the Secretary of State. The major fields of USAID work include support of trade, agriculture, economic development, public health, specialized humanitarian help, assistance in conflict management and support of democracy in more than 100 countries around the world. Since 1992, USAID has invested more than 500 million US dollars in financing its various programs in Kazakhstan. Covering a large number of projects all over the country, USAID had very specific requirements regarding the warehouse space needed for the storage of materials used by the agency staff in their work process.
