Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis has announced the approval of the construction of a new large-scale shopping & entertainment center located at the intersection of Abay Ave. and Rozybakiev Str in Almaty. The project construction concept was approved at a meeting of the members of the Almaty City Architectural Council held on 30 April 2010. The Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis Strategic Consulting and Retail Team was commissioned to develop a set of detailed recommendations regarding the positioning, concept, structure and tenant mix of the new centre with a total area of more than 110 000 sqm, making it the largest shopping & entertainment facility in Almaty short- to medium-term.
The project was noted by the members of the Almaty City Architectural Council as having "a well-designed connection to the city transportation network, sufficient number of parking spaces, generous range of planned services and amenities, and exterior design corresponding with the overall development plan of the adjacent territory".
In addition, the project concept and recommendations developed by the Scot Holland | CBRE team received a very positive review from the Senior Management of the Client company.
