Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis has announced the closing
of a deal and signing of a Lease Agreement for new office premises for “Sberbank
Russia” in Almaty. The new premises have a total area of more than 2,200 sqm and
are located in the “Кen Dala” Business Center. Scot Holland | CB Richard Ellis was
appointed as the primary consultant and Agent for this transaction. "Sberbank Russia" is a universal bank maintaining close connections with the largest banks in the world, and has extensive experience in rendering financial services to clients and partners operating in various industry areas. The Bank’s network in the Republic of Kazakhstan includes 12 primary branches (as of the end of 2009) and 83 structural sub-divisions of the branches.
The total assets of “Sberbank Russia” during Q1 of 2010 comprised 223.7 Billion KZT, placing the Bank among the Top 10 largest commercial banks of Каzakhstan. At the same time deposits by legal entities comprised 115.4 Billion KZT, and deposits by private individuals comprised 36.3 Billion KZT.
Effective 01st April 2010 the Bank’s own capital comprised 37.3 Billion KZT, and its Net Profit was equal to 333.4 Million KZT. As of 01st March 2010 the Bank ranks 6th in terms of own capital and 4th in terms of Net Profit among all commercial banks operating in Kazakhstan.
Last but not least, "Sberbank Russia" is an active player on the Kazakhstan stock market and is a primary dealer/agent for servicing operations with Government Securities emitted by the Ministry of Finance and National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
