A 21-floor building being built in the square of Gagarin, Mynbayev, Satpayev, and Radostovtsa streets will be demolished, - as reported by the correspondent of the agency with a reference to the Almaty Department of State Architectural and Construction Control (DSAC).

This residential complex is developed by Atameken Kurylys Company. "Developer has no construction permission. We do not issue this permission, as the developer holds neither project technical specifications, nor project conclusion. They constructed this building without any authorization documents", - said Kairat Konirbayev, Head of DSAC Department.

K. Konirbayev reminded that several illegal constructions in Almaty had already been demolished. Particularly, "two years ago, completed 4-storey hotel near the Youth Theater was demolished. Today there is a children’s playground there", - official says.
